Democracy is the world’s most advanced modern system of government. Which is considered by many countries as an inevitable system of governance. No one wants to present themselves as an opponent of democracy. But democracy is not achievable in itself, it is only a means. In a democracy, the ruler is determined by the people’s vote. If the leadership of the country falls into the hands of a good person, democracy will prosper; if it falls into the hands of a bad person, it will be a curse. Therefore, before voting, one should be able to study the background, mentality and character of the candidate and the leader of the party concerned. If not, the country will suffer. You don’t have to look at the example of other countries, you just look at the example of our own country.
There is a proverb in English – ‘Little knowledge is dangerous.’ That is, ignorance is better than little knowledge. This proverb is found in Nepal’s politics. For us, democracy has become like a coconut in a monkey’s hand. Not only the party and party leaders are to blame in this case, we the voters also have weaknesses. We voted out of momentary interest or influenced by speech. Our same vote is drowning the country. We have suffered ourselves. The country is once again in conflict. This is not a good sign. It is a big mistake to overthrow the monarchy.
BP Koirala, a far-sighted politician, had repeatedly said that a democracy that can accommodate even a king or a monarchy that can accommodate democracy is the only suitable system of governance in Nepal. This guidance of the BP was not heard by the kings, nor by the leaders after the demise of the BP.
Power and money are like fire, if misused it can destroy the world in an instant. Neighboring India has now developed a dangerous weapon. He has created a dangerous weapon to compete in the world power struggle. China has more power and money than India. He is in a position to confront the United States. Conflict between the United States and China is expected to take a dangerous turn tomorrow. Russia also has the weapons of the then Soviet Union. With a few chances, Russia could re-emerge as a superpower to compete with the United States and China. So the Cold War is not over yet. The threat of the Cold War remains. Just as viruses change shape according to the environment, so does the Cold War. Like the corona virus, the nature of the Cold War is changing with the times. Who will prevent the rumored situation where even a weapon like a virus is being used for power and money? This is the main concern at this time. The United Nations should take the initiative to prevent this, but where is the UN? The situation has come. The United Nations is in danger of becoming a puppet of power. The main reason why an organization like WHO is a pendulum in this Corona disaster is the declining credibility of the United Nations. If WHO officials were new to power and money, no country would dare to build biological weapons. If the competition for such dangerous weapons is not stopped, the world will not have to wait for many years to collapse. Donald Trump has already indicated that.
The car of life cannot move forward without power and money. Power and money are the fuel of life today. But is money everything? Power is everything? That question is very important. We have been hearing a proverb – ‘If you have too much, you will lose.’ Therefore, democratic governance has been adopted to prevent power and money from being concentrated in one person. But by entering the weaknesses and loopholes of democracy, material vampires are coming to power.
Alfred Novell, the inventor of the dangerous nuclear weapon, deeply regretted the end of his life. He raised a large portion of his income for world peace. Every year, a large sum of money is awarded to those who contribute to peace from the same fund. Which has been called the Nobel Peace Prize. The day we every citizen strives to win the Nobel Peace Prize is like heaven on earth. Whoever does bad deeds does not have to be taught, only those who do good deeds. The difference between animal and human is conscience. People have conscience, not animals. Where is the world going? Where have we gone wrong? There was a need for everyone to think seriously about that.
We have led our children astray. We have taught in the wrong school. Due to which they have stopped recognizing their birth parents. They have stopped respecting those who are older than they are. They are ignorant of their language, religion, culture, and social customs. In a sense, it has become like a row. Rowat has no conscience, no humanity, no soul. He doesn’t even need society. What is civilization? What is culture? I don’t know anything. He looks like a human being, but he does not know how to save humanity and develop human civilization. Because he is only taught to operate tools, to operate machines. Education is knowledge. But we made our offspring Robert, not wise.
Gurukul is much better than our basic education system. Do our policy makers and thinkers think in that direction now? Science and technology have brought a situation where a teacher is no longer needed. That’s what I searched for on the internet. Everyone started relying on the internet. When the Internet system collapses, the risk of everything collapsing increases.
