21 August , 2024/ With the growing environmental issues in Nepal, tree-planting campaigns are accelerating rapidly. Under the slogan “Plant Trees, Save the Environment,” various organizations and local communities have united to intensify nationwide tree-planting programs.
Recently, hundreds of trees have been planted in different areas of the Kathmandu Valley. This campaign aims to promote greenery while reducing the problems caused by climate change. According to environmental experts, while tree planting is not the sole solution to environmental improvements, it is a significant step that will have a long-term impact.
One local participant in the campaign said, “Planting trees means building a clean environment for future generations. It is our responsibility.”
