Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been seen as arrogant to keep the country’s governance at stake for the continuation of his post. Prime Minister Oli, who is becoming unpopular due to his inability to give the people the experience of the presence of the state in the country, has intensified the politics of lies and deception. Senior leaders of the CPN (Maoist) have urged to convene a meeting saying that the party is on the verge of collapse due to Oli. But Prime Minister Oli rejected the request on Saturday and challenged it, but on Sunday it turned out to be a bit of a chore.

The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has been repeatedly urging to convene a meeting of the parliament at a time when the country is in dire straits, but Prime Minister Oli, who ended the budget session last July, has made no suggestion to convene the session. He is in the strategy of not convening the session of the parliament as much as possible. However, as the constitution has made it mandatory for one session of the parliament and the duration of the next session not to exceed six months, he will have to convene a session of the parliament in any case within the coming December.

During the formation of the CPN (Maoist) after the unification of the then UML and UCPN (M), both Oli and Prachanda were to be the chairpersons. But this law has been washed away by Oli. “I am the first president,” Oli said. He is the second president. Is our first president more ceremonial? The second president is the second president. However, the presidency is left to you. If you run it, it will be released. And what is not yet? ‘

The country’s constitution and election commission are also in dire straits as they only know Oli as the CPN (Maoist) chairman. During the unification, Prachanda had announced, “We are two pilots of a jumbo jet.” But Oli, who is also the prime minister, is in dire straits after the provision of two chairpersons was washed away. Last Saturday, he had reached the PM’s residence in Baluwatar demanding a meeting of the secretariat with former prime ministers Madhav Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal and former deputy prime ministers Dhya Bamdev Gautam and Narayan Kaji Shrestha. The team has also requested the party chairman Oli, who is also the prime minister, to convene a meeting soon. Prachanda, who has to submit a petition to Oli to convene the meeting, has not stopped saying that he is the party president. If he had considered himself the party president, he would have convened the meeting himself. Where is Oli with the request to call a meeting?

Why did Prachanda demand to convene a meeting of the secretariat? And why is Oli reluctant to call a meeting? That is clear. The party secretariat has 9 members. Among them are Prime Minister Oli, three Deputy Prime Ministers Prachanda, Nepal and Khanal, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel, two former Deputy Prime Ministers Bamdev Gautam and Narayan Kaji Shrestha, General Secretary Vishnu Poudel and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa. Out of which 5 are towards Prachanda and 4 are towards Oli. Oli knows that Prachanda will propose his resignation at the secretariat meeting and that the proposal will be passed by a majority. So he is not ready to hold a meeting. Therefore, Prime Minister Oli reprimanded the five leaders who reached Baluwatar on Saturday demanding a meeting. Oli has made it clear – “No one demands a meeting, I call a meeting as needed. If this is not acceptable to me, do what you can.” I do what I can. ‘ Less than 24 hours after Oli’s threat, senior leader Madhav Nepal was called to Baluwatar on Sunday for a discussion.

After reprimanding five of the party’s most senior leaders, Prime Minister Oli told a media interview: “They have come. He handed over the letter and left. What remains is to be seen. ‘ However, Oli said, “It is not a matter of holding a meeting whenever someone says so.” There is no meeting to make people laugh. ‘
He has said, “The faction has always criticized the prime minister, not the prime minister.” What does it mean not to be the Prime Minister? Who should be You mean, like, saltines and their ilk, eh? Similarly, Oli has said, “What was the battle for before that?” What was the issue? What was there but personal selfishness, personal ambition, personal frustration and jealousy? Was there a theoretical issue? Was there an ideological issue? Were there any national issues? There was nothing, just factionalism, factional meetings, looking for excuses from there, not much. Consensus had to be sought after that failed attempt failed. Consensus was sought. Approved. Consent was needed anyway. It was decided to do whatever is agreed upon. I am the president elected by the General Convention. I am still the first president in the same capacity. Someone else has a majority somewhere, someone in my competition has a majority,

Prime Minister Oli has made his point publicly. Prachanda has no choice but to split the party or surrender his soul. If Prachanda can get support with these five people, he can easily throw Oli away. But it is not possible for him to get the support of the next prime minister. The Madhav Nepal group also has the same bitter experience as Prachanda. Until a few months ago, Nepal had the bitter experience of being pushed by Oli with the help of Prachanda. At that time, Prachanda had adopted a strategy of creating a rift between Oli and Nepal and dominating himself. He succeeded in this strategy, but he has not succeeded in the strategy of dominating himself. Without Madhav Nepal, he would not be able to win. Madhav is ready to throw Oli only if he becomes the prime minister. To oust Oli and make Madhav the Prime Minister would be another suicidal step for Prachanda.

The only way to oust Oli is to bring a no-confidence motion in the House of Representatives. But without the support of the Nepali Congress, the no-confidence motion against Oli cannot succeed. Congress is unlikely to support Prachanda in becoming the prime minister. Because in 2074 BS, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba made Prachanda’s daughter the mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City by putting his politics at stake. But before the end of September, he betrayed Deuba and went to meet Prachanda Oli. Therefore, Deuba is not likely to support Prachanda to be deceived again. So far, half of the 53 MPs elected by the then Maoists have left with Prachanda. For example, Ram Bahadur Thapa Wadal, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Harivol Gajurel, Lekhraj Bhatt, Chakrapani Khanal, Mani Thap, Many Maoist leaders, including Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, are campaigning to prevent Prachanda from dominating the party under any circumstances. Meanwhile, some leaders including Narayan Kaji Shrestha have sided with Madhav Nepal. Oli is excited because of Prachanda’s weak condition. But the result of Oli’s enthusiasm seems to be fatal for the country itself.
